Once in the kitchen and gaining access to kitchen supplies, he gnaws through bags of cereals and drags all the tastiest things into his burrow. He can gnaw furniture, wallpaper, things - the scale of the destruction can be decent, which is why take all measures to catch the escaped hamster as soon as possible.
Step 2
Close the room the hamster was in and remove all pets (especially cats, of course) from there. If the hamster is accustomed to the hands and has been living with you for a long time, sit quietly on the floor, call him by name without panic and fuss. It is quite possible that he will come to you himself. Put his cage on the floor and put next to something that can serve as a ladder for him, after walking, he is likely to return home.
Step 3
Trap the escaped hamster. Put the aquarium on the floor, put its favorite, tasty-smelling delicacies, a piece of its mink and even a toilet inside. Outside, make a stable ladder so that he can climb inside, while he will not be able to get out, since the walls of the aquarium will be higher than his height.
Step 4
Go in search of a hamster. In this case, it is best to look for traces of his life. Do not move the furniture under any circumstances, as you can simply crush it. Look carefully at all the nooks and crannies, hamsters like to hide behind cabinets and sofas, under a heap of rags or papers, they can crawl into slippers or bags.
Step 5
If you have not found a hamster during the day, do not forget about it at night, leave a small lamp in the room. Most often, it is at night that rodents become active and begin to vigorously settle down, gnaw something or rustle something.
Step 6
Approach the found hamster quietly, without screaming or sudden movements. Even a tamed hamster will try to escape, so grab it sharply, trying to corner it. Hold the fugitive firmly but gently, carry him back to the cage and leave him alone for a while so that he will come to his senses and calm down.
