Step 1
It is not difficult to find "Akhatina fulika" now, many sell small snails, and even give them away for nothing. Purchase a plastic container for your pet. It should have a lid that has air holes. Never leave the container open, otherwise the snail will escape. Cover the bottom with a substrate of coconut shavings or sawdust. This soil is sold in pet stores. Spray it every day from a spray bottle with water, snails love a humid environment. Change the soil every three to four months. However, it is best to clean the container once a month, without the use of chemical cleaning agents. It is not recommended to place stones or ceramic figurines in the aquarium, the snail can damage its house on them.

It is best to feed the snail in the evening. Just put the food directly on the ground. The snail's diet can include cucumbers, tomatoes, cabbage, zucchini, lettuce, apples, strawberries, peaches, etc. Beware of giving bell peppers, not everyone can tolerate it, as well as any citrus fruits. Include any fish food on the pet's menu, and also put dry cuttlefish shells in the aquarium. By eating it, the snail strengthens its house. "Achatina fuliki" are hermaphrodites, so it is likely that one snail will be able to bring you offspring. If you find masonry, you can remove it, freeze it and throw it away. Otherwise, get ready to distribute about fifty little snails.
