For snails, you need an aquarium or shellfish. The size of the aquarium should be related to the size of the snails themselves, because they are large and small. Sand or earth should be poured at the bottom. The aquarium must be kept moist at all times.

Snails should be fed about 3 times a week. They eat almost anything - fruits, vegetables, lettuce and cabbage, herbs, cucumbers. Many snails have their own favorite food, except for which they do not want to eat anything. Some snails like to eat newspapers. For unexplained reasons, they are addicted to printing ink, but this can poison the snail and die.
Step 3
Every 2 weeks you need to wash the aquarium and change the soil in it about once a month. In summer, snails can be walked on the grass, the main thing is to make sure that they are not bitten by ants.
Step 4
Snails are hermaphrodites. Therefore, if the aquarium is warm and humid enough, the snail will soon lay many eggs, from which small snails will hatch.
Step 5
If you do not feed or water the snail for a while, or if you place the aquarium in a cool place, the snails will fall into a coma. They decrease in size, become more than 2 times lighter due to the fact that fluid leaves the body. This is convenient if you are going on vacation: just place the snail in a cool place and calmly set off on the road. It's easy to wake your pet up - you need to water it, put it in a warm place and give it food.
Step 6
Snails need calcium as it is used to build their shells. At pet stores, you can buy calcium bars made for birds, such as parrots. For snails, this calcium is also fine. One bar of shellfish will nibble for about three months.
Step 7
The snails need to be watered. Spray the walls of the aquarium and the snail itself from a spray bottle, it will crawl and absorb water. You can water snails at least every day, depending on the humidity of the air.
