Pregnancy and childbirth
A very risky and responsible period not only for the pet, but also for the owner. It is advisable to feed a waiting hamster offspring according to a list verified by livestock breeders, which is easy to find on the Internet. Since the animal is especially sensitive during this period, it is necessary to limit any stress factors - harsh light, extraneous noises - that can injure the rodent. It is important not to miss the moment of childbirth, since in case of any problems, the female can die from painful shock, rupture of any internal organ. After all, a hamster is a fragile animal.
Poor care
At least once a week, the litter in the hamster's cage should be completely changed, and its waste should be removed daily. It is necessary to take the hamster out of the cage, in the literal sense, tenderly and gently. Rough hugs are quite capable of breaking something for him, and if the animal is dropped from a height, then there is practically no hope for a successful outcome. Do not leave the cage with a rodent for a long time in a very sunny room, the hamster may die from heat or sunstroke.
