Step 1
Cleaning the walls of the aquarium. There are dozens of different tools for cleaning your aquarium from green algae deposits. There are various razor-like scrapers and much more complex graters with a strong magnet that allows you to control the cleaning part through the glass. But all these funds cost money, and do not bring much benefit. For three years I cleaned the walls of the aquarium with a regular dishwashing sponge. Simple and effective! And, most importantly, not a single new scratch that happened to arise from scrapers with a razor.
Step 2
Cleaning artificial algae and various decorative items in an aquarium, such as gates, grottoes and driftwood, is a more complicated process. But there is also a cheap and reliable way. An old toothbrush has proven to be the most effective remedy. She is able to handle the most uneven surfaces and very high quality!
Step 3
The most correct way to clean the aquarium from green parasite plaque is biological! The common fish Ancistrus (Ancistrus dolichopterus) is capable of solving the problem of all small algae alone, without harming the so-called higher plants at all.
