Step 2
Get to know the kitten and observe him to draw conclusions about his character and behavior. Most thoroughbred Thai kittens with a good pedigree have a wonderful character and a stable psyche, so you should also pay attention to the parents of the baby. By the way, remember that cats often do not like harsh and strong odors, so it is not recommended to use perfumes, deodorants when visiting a kitten. Otherwise, you can displease the baby.
Step 3
Take a close look at the future pet, make sure that it meets breed standards. A Thai kitten should have a rounded muzzle with a strong chin, medium-sized ears set wide apart, and round, obliquely set eyes. The body should be tight, with a wide chest. Thai kittens have relatively small paws, rounded, of medium length. The tail should be thick at the base, not too long, but not too short.

Be sure to see if the kitten has any external flaws that can seriously ruin his show career. The head should be neither flat nor angular. Too long legs are considered a big disadvantage, as well as an elongated or oversized body. The coat should be soft, almost adhering to the body, but not coarse and, moreover, not too fine and silky to the touch. Finally, look the kitten in the eyes. If their color is neither blue nor blue, then this is a kitten with a strong congenital defect in terms of breed standards.
