Step 1
Dry the dried grass, hay and dry shrub leaves well, and then turn them into flour so that the finished feed can be suitable for small animals. If the starting material has been well dried, the grass and leaves will crumble easily. Hay flour can be made using a meat grinder, blender, or simply knead it with your hands.
Step 2
Pour salt, lime, eggshells into the resulting green mixture as mineral additives, which must be grinded in advance. Mix everything well and add crushed grains and leftover bread. Then add about three glasses of flour to the resulting mass to increase the nutritional value of the product. The flour also helps to glue the mass together before it is further processed. After that, pour in a small amount of warm water and knead a tough dough. The resulting dough must be processed into granules to make it more convenient to use in the future. To do this, you need to scroll the resulting mass through a meat grinder. Send the resulting granules to dry immediately, otherwise the flour can sour and thereby spoil the entire feed.
Step 3
The yeast method is well suited for preparing feed for chickens. Pour 2 liters of water heated to 40 degrees into a saucepan and add yeast diluted in water (10 grams). Next, pour a kilogram of flour mixture into the resulting mass. After that, it is necessary to thoroughly mix the feed every half hour. The compound feed prepared according to this method can be given to the birds 9 hours after preparation.
Step 4
To prepare compound feed on dough, it is necessary to knead it in advance. Dissolve yeast (20 grams) in a liter of warm water. Add 400 grams of concentrated feed to the resulting dough. Then stir the food every half hour for 6 hours. In order for the resulting mass to be used for feeding animals, it is necessary to dilute the dough with 3 liters of warm water and pour in one and a half kilograms of feed. Next, the food must be stirred every hour for 9 hours. After the specified time has elapsed, the resulting compound feed can be fed to the animals.
