When feeding a castrated cat with dry food, be sure to give the animal plenty of water. If you notice that the neutered cat does not drink much, soak dry food or switch the cat to natural food and wet canned food.

The diet of a castrated cat, based on natural products, should include meat (chicken, beef), offal (beef lung and heart, chicken stomachs and liver), cereals (buckwheat, millet, oatmeal), vegetables (carrots, beets, cabbage) and dairy products (cottage cheese, kefir). It is highly undesirable to feed a castrated cat with fish. It contains many minerals that lead to the formation of kidney stones.

After neutering, in many cats, an interest in cats is replaced by an excessive interest in food. To prevent the animal from overeating, try to organize fractional nutrition for the castrated cat - feed him often, but little by little. If your cat is still recovering, buy special low-calorie foods.
Step 6
In addition to urolithiasis and obesity, neutered cats often develop dental and gum disease. To improve the condition of the oral cavity, regularly feed your cat raw meat, cut into large pieces. You can also buy special cat treats for brushing your teeth at the pet store.
