Having picked up a homeless puppy, you did a very noble and truly worthy deed, but later you turned out to be absolutely unprepared for the difficulties associated with the domestication of such a dog. This problem needs to be solved so that you do not regret the decision you made.

Step 1
Make contact with your puppy and don't be offended by the new pet for not being able to appreciate your generosity. The puppy cannot realize his own happiness because of fear. Be as kind and affectionate as possible with him. Let him know that you are his friend, protector, breadwinner. Never shout and, moreover, do not physically punish for any wrongdoing. The puppy does not yet know what your home is and how you need to live in it. By scaring him, you will further increase his desire to escape.
Step 2
Decide immediately in which part of your apartment you will arrange a "house" for the dog. She must have her own corner where she can retire. Having its own territory, the puppy will feel more comfortable.
Step 3
Take (and then take) your puppy for a walk on a regular basis. Walk the dog at least 3-4 times a day. She needs fresh air, sun, freedom. Your puppy lacks this, so he sits at the door for hours, hoping to get out. Plus, walking the puppy right after sleep, after eating, and before eating will gradually get rid of such misfortunes as puddles and piles throughout the apartment. Regime is important for the dog. Soon she will get used to the fact that she has certain hours for walking and will stop asking to go out all the time.
Step 4
Pay more attention to your four-legged friend. The puppy can get bored. He was used to frolic on the street with other dogs, chasing cats and doing many other important things for him, but here he was left alone, moreover, he faced a lot of prohibitions and restrictions. Play with him more often, and be sure to buy him toys to chew and chew on. This will entertain him, give him the opportunity to sharpen his teeth and save most of your property from damage. And again, walk more. Sometimes the walks must be long, with jogging and playful elements.
Step 5
But no less important - consult a cynologist (maybe even a cynologist-zoopsychologist). He will help you to correct the behavior of the dog without harming its psyche, will give advice on care and education. To cope with difficulties and overcome the urge to escape in the puppy, you need patience and a great sense of love for your dog. Give your baby time to get used to it, show condescension to his pranks and follow the basic rules described above. In a few weeks you will be rewarded - you will have a friend who will be difficult to find more faithful!
