The first thing you need to do for this - no matter how it sounds - is to carefully discern the genital and anus of the hamster. To do this, gently take the hamster in your hand and position it so that the lower half of the body and legs hang from the palm of your hand. Then, gently support your upper body and head with your thumb.

It is unlikely that you will find signs of its "manhood" under the tail of the animal, it is difficult to see the genitals of hamsters with the naked eye (especially in babies).

You can distinguish a boy hamster from a girl hamster only by the distance between the two holes - the anal and the genital.

But in females, the vagina is located almost close to the anus, and the girls' skin in this place is naked, not overgrown with wool. Also, on closer inspection on the belly of a girl hamster, you will see two rows of nipples.
