It doesn't matter where the kitten came from - maybe he came under the door himself or was bought on the market, or maybe he was just born from a beloved cat and now lives in the warmth and comfort of his home. The latter option is preferable, because in this case you can yourself observe how a two-month-old fidget kitten quickly grows out of a small helpless animal. They say that a kitten at this age has only two states - either deep sleep, or an irrepressible prank.

All life is a game

A healthy 2 month old kitten loves to play with its siblings. While playing, he learns to communicate with relatives, to share food with them. Playing with objects develops coordination of movements, enables the kitten to feel the surrounding space, which is necessary in nature for a full-fledged hunt.

Play is an indispensable component for the socialization of a kitten at this age. With the help of it, the kitten learns the world around him and develops his physical abilities. This is the best remedy for loneliness when the owners are not at home. But only one toy quickly gets boring. Playing with kittens is a completely different matter.

It is at two months that the kitten ends the period of socialization, i.e. he gets acquainted with everything that will surround him in later life, which is very important for the normal adaptation of the pet. If the kitten spends this time in a boring environment, without communicating with people or relatives, then it will be impossible to completely fill this gap.

Hunting

Kittens begin to learn the basics of hunting at an early age. Already in a month, the little kitten tries to assume the hunter's pose, but only at the age of six weeks does he begin to understand that the prey caught by the mother can be eaten. And from two months the kitten becomes so brave that it begins to learn to attack. Pets, as their first prey, first choose the weakest in the litter, later - the mother's tail, and when they get bolder, they attack the owner's legs.

Clean feet

The kitten learns to be clean by following the example of the mother. Starting from one and a half months of age, the kitten can confidently cope with the litter box. First, following his mother-cat, he tries to lick on his own, then he tries to cope with the scratching post, leaving the use of the tray for a “snack”. For a two-month-old kitten, choose the smallest granules as the first litter for the toilet. Do not worry that the kitten will first taste the granules - this is how he gets to know an unfamiliar substance.

Cat tongue

The most interesting and soothing sound that only cats can reproduce is the purr. In feline language, it means contentment and humility. The kitten begins to purr from the first feeding, thus expressing its love for the mother. At first, the purr of the baby is barely audible, but at the age of two months it intensifies and in moments of special bliss it can resemble the rumbling of a small motor. If a two-month-old kitten purrs in front of the owner, it means that he feels great and accepts his primacy.
