And now breeding factories specializing in raising such cows exist in the Leningrad, Yaroslavl, Moscow, Tula, Vologda, Novgorod and Kirov regions of modern Russia, as well as in Karelia, Krasnodar Territory and the Komi Republic. Thus, Russia ranks second in the world in terms of the number of Ayshir cows in the world. This is about 90 thousand animals, or 2, 8% of the total number of "Aishirs" on the entire planet. The average weight of an animal of this species is about 550-590 kilograms. The colors habitual for her are red or variegated-spotted. The cow's head is very light and rather beautiful, and the horns are thin and large, directed at first slightly to the side and then up. Such a structure of the horns in cattle breeding is called lyre-like. The back of the animals is rather wide and straight, and the body itself is short. The udder of the Ayshir cow is very pronounced with dimensions typical for dairy cattle, bowl-shaped. Nipples are set wide apart, of medium size.

The great popularity of this breed of cattle is due to the constancy of its milk yield, which, naturally, is highly valued in agriculture and the dairy industry. In addition, the content of somatic cells is low in animal milk. Cows are productive both in terms of milk yield and in terms of procreation for quite a long time. They calve very easily and have an active temperament.
