The most common problem faced by Yorkshire Terrier owners is the habit of constantly marking its territory.

This recommendation is especially relevant for the owners of those dogs who are rarely on the street and are used to doing all their "business" on a special tray. If you treat this problem carelessly, unpleasant "gifts" in the form of puddles or heaps can appear in various places in an apartment or house.
Another behavioral problem is usually faced by owners of York boys. The fact is that males behave very inadequately if a girl, ready for mating, suddenly appears somewhere in the neighborhood. Very often, dogs literally lose their heads and run away from the owner.
However, during estrus, girls can also cause a lot of trouble, since in this state they become very aggressive, nervous, constantly looking for a partner. In order to avoid an unexpected pregnancy, a girl should wear a special suit during a walk during estrus.
