After reaching a mass of 10 g, the number of meals can be reduced. At a water temperature of 24 ° C, the number of feedings may not exceed 6, at 14-20 ° C - 4 and at -14 ° C, fish should be given food 2-3 times a day. In winter, when the water temperature is above 6 ° C, the fish should also be fed, but the daily ration should be no more than 2% of the fish mass.

The increase in the number of complementary feedings should also be proportional to the decrease in the availability of natural products, i.e. with the minimum content of natural food - the maximum number of meals, and, conversely, during the period of maximum development of natural food - the minimum number of servings. In the presence of a connected electrical network, it is recommended to install equipment (preferably with pneumatic spraying of feed for a large-scale complex), which will ensure a continuous supply of food throughout the day.

Feed the carp at the same time, in a permanently designated area. This develops a conditioned reflex in the fish, it finds food faster, assimilates it better, and the food, in turn, does not have time to sour. Control how the fish eats food. If it remains in some places, reduce its distribution the next day.
