If your dog is constantly running around the house, knocking over everything that is not nailed on its way, it means that you walk little with it or rarely pay attention, in addition to walking and feeding. But if your four-legged friend no longer behaves like a friend, but like an enemy: snaps, bites, growls, then it's time to take urgent measures so that the dog understands who is the boss. However, the friendliness of the dog can injure the owner.
Instructions
Step 1
Show right away that you are the owner of the house. At the beginning of an aggressive attack against you, seize the moment, take the puppy by the scruff, but do not shake. Hold him until he calms down, look him directly in the eyes if possible. The dog should feel your superiority as a master. If you are against such measures, try switching the dog's attention to a toy or food.
Step 2
Raise your puppy with the stick and carrot method: the stick should be in the shape of a rolled newspaper, and the gingerbread should be in the shape of a bowl of food. But do not hit or frighten the puppy, do not starve him. The maximum that you can do is to take away a bowl from the puppy for a while, give a toy, and then give away the food and pick up the hardened ball. Repeat this process several times until the puppy is calm about your actions with the bowl. This is necessary not only for the owner to assert his superiority, but also so that the puppy subsequently calmly reacts, for example, to combing or injections.
Step 3
If your dog is painfully jealous of your child, don't leave them alone and unattended. In this case, the dog cannot be punished so that it does not become even more embittered. See an experienced dog handler to correct her behavior.
Step 4
In order to disaccustom a dog to rush on his own, you need to make sure that your household comes into the house with you. Ask them not to wear fur or leather things, not to make sudden movements when talking, and not to try to establish contact with your four-legged friend. If the guests do not behave aggressively towards you from the point of view of the dog, then soon it will stop reacting to them as strangers.
Step 5
If an adult dog shows his aggression towards the owner, it means that the owner raised him incorrectly. Take your dog to an experienced dog handler and do not try to change the character of the matured pet yourself.
Step 6
But if a dog, especially a large one, wants to show you his friendliness and jumps on you or puts his paws on his shoulders, use a few simple tricks to wean your pet from such forms of greeting.
Step 7
If your dog jumps at you to greet you, knee gently on the chest. Advise your family to use this technique, and after a few days the dog will understand your good intentions and stop greeting you this way.
Step 8
If your dog rests its front paws on your shoulders, step lightly on its hind paw. After 2-3 days, the dog will stop showing you such signs of attention.
