Now you can think about which breed to give preference to. It is worth going to a cat show, chatting with the owners, asking them to talk about their pets, and taking the breeders' phones.

Once the breed has been chosen, it's time to go to a trade show, pet store, or call the breeders. The latter is preferable in the case when the kitten is bought for further offspring, so it is desirable that its parents are titled.

You should not be moved at the sight of monthly fluffy lumps, such kittens did not have time to enjoy the caress of their mother and did not drink plenty of milk from the nipples, so in the future they will stubbornly "trample" the owner with their front paws, sometimes with extended claws. After 2-2, 5 months, the age comes when kittens can be safely weaned from a cat.

Just reach out and wait for the curious toddler to take an interest and start sniffing at it. Such a kitten will grow up to be affectionate and loving. If not a single kitten dared to approach, and everyone sits huddled in, there may be severe, unsociable cats and cats that do not bring joy to communication.

It is very important to take the kitten in your arms and play with him: if he quickly begins to rumble, scratches and bites his fingers painfully, then this is a sign of imbalance and aggression. A trembling, shrinking living lump, stubbornly not making contact, should be put back in the box - such a kitten will not grow into a cheerful, full of energy cat.

It is important to pay attention to the appearance: the eyes should be clean, not watery, no brown deposits are allowed in the ears - this is one of the signs of an ear mite. It should be dry and clean under the tail, the anus should not be inflamed. The mucous membranes of the pharynx and oral cavity are allowed only pink.

A kitten's fur will also say a lot. It should be uniform, without bald spots. Sparse wool indicates vitamin deficiency and other diseases. Irregularities in the coat that look like clipped patches are nothing more than ringworm. Finally, you need to make sure that the kitten's nose is cold.
