Early learning advocates are most likely right in the debate about when is the best time to start learning. This does not mean that you need to start teaching the dog commands from birth. But already from 3 months, your friend is quite capable of starting to learn commands. Naturally, after each execution of the desired action, the dog must be praised and treated with a pre-stored treat.
Each command is first spoken in a loud, clear voice and complemented by a gesture corresponding to this command. It is advisable to train in a protected relatively quiet place where you can communicate with your pet one-on-one. For example, it is generally problematic to learn the command "Come to me" in the presence of other people and animals. The dog will inevitably be distracted, which means that it simply will not remember the commands.
The "face" command is generally not useful for every dog. For example, dogs that belong to peaceful, domestic breeds practically do not need to use it. But "sit", "lie down" and "fetch" are universal commands and are among the first to learn. Experts advise observing the dog and trying to be the first to learn commands related to your pet's favorite actions. If the dog loves to bark, you need to begin to learn the command "voice" with it. If he is happy to run after a stick and sometimes brings it to you, learn the command "fetch". If at first the dog hardly understands the command “to me”, it is advisable to take a couple of steps towards it. And gradually your shaggy friend will learn all the components of a canine literacy. And you will be proud that you have managed to train your dog in commands. After all, there are two involved in the learning process: the teacher and the student. And both get pleasure from the results achieved. Not only the dog rejoices at the owner's praise, but the owner is always glad to the new successes of his pet.
