Mating dogs is quite a responsible process, as it affects the quality of future offspring. It is important to organize it with French Bulldogs so that everyone is happy with the result.
It is necessary
- - agreement on mating with the owner of the second animal;
- - referral for mating from the club (if so established);
- - muzzle;
- - a separate room.
Instructions
Step 1
Often, owners of French Bulldogs complain about the difficulties that arise when mating them. If everything is ready, and the "lady" does not allow the dog to cage, there may be several reasons here: her unpreparedness for mating, fear and spoiledness.
Step 2
Observe the bitch's behavior for the first few minutes. Almost all of them growl at the dog at first, not allowing him to get close to him. This is not necessarily evidence of aggressiveness; often, it is just part of the ritual. A few seconds pass and the female French Bulldog herself comes up to the dog, begins to sniff him, allows himself to be sniffed and lets him lick the noose. But at the first attempt to land it, as a rule, begins to growl and jumps to the side.
Step 3
Note that normally, after the dog has made several attempts, the bitch finally allows him to sit. But, unfortunately, many "ladies" do not go further than flirting and all attempts of a dog, they meet aggressively.
Step 4
Put on a muzzle on the female to protect yourself and her "gentleman" from bites. Sit on a chair, turn the bitch towards you, squeeze her torso between her knees, firmly grasp the collar on both sides (you can even have a skin).
Step 5
Do not lean too hard on the dog, do not cover it with your body, as the dog usually wants to see his friend, as well as be able to sniff her, lick her face and ears. Let the dog into the room. Taking into account the nature of the bitch, calm her down at the time of mounting, or vice versa, restrain her. Such restriction of freedom is often enough for the "lady" to stop resisting mating.
Step 6
If the dog does not move from his courtship to more radical actions, encourage him. Problems occur mainly with young unrelated males. The first mating for such a male becomes the final stage in the development of sex education. There is nothing wrong with the fact that the dog does not know what to do. Help him: lift the front legs of the dog, place them on the croup of the bitch. Observe that her tail does not interfere, is set aside. Help the dog find the loop.
Step 7
If the bulldog jumps to the floor and does not want to cage, take the bitch to another room for a while. Then return it and evaluate the activity of the dog (as a rule, it increases significantly).
Step 8
If a mature stud dog refuses the cage, it means that the bitch is not ready for the mating process. Her eggs are probably not yet mature and therefore cannot be fertilized. An experienced male quickly determines the readiness of the bitch, sooner or later he may refuse to mate.
