Step 2
Tie a sample of 40 stitches with an elastic band and count how many stitches fit 10 cm of knitting. For example, if you have 42 loops, then dial 84 air loops for a neck volume of 20 cm. To make the jumpsuit fit the dog better, cast on a few loops less, because the finished product will stretch over time.
Step 3
Knit the required length of the throat. Then start adding stitches in two steps. Add them in pairs so as not to disturb the knitting pattern. Don't make the collar too long, 3-4 cm is enough.
Step 4
Make the first row of the addition so that you get the lace holes. To do this, make a yarn over, knit a loop, then make a yarn over the yarn. Repeat this technique every 5-6 loops. Knit odd rows with an elastic band according to the pattern.
