How to calculate the timing of mating
Usually the day of mating in large dogs is determined by counting from the first day of estrus. You may not even notice it in toy babies - they are clean, like cats, and there may be no external manifestations. The behavior of the bitch may change - she will become more affectionate and begin to carry out hygiene procedures more often. Another symptom of readiness for mating is that it strongly sags and folds its tail if you scratch it from above at the base of the tail. It is not worth counting the days after the onset of estrus also because the optimal mating time, even for the same bitch, changes with each estrus. But you should be aware that with such a mating schedule, there is a possibility of multiple puppies, and this can be dangerous for her. Therefore, for a primiparous bitch, shift the mating period to the first or second day after the loop swells so that she has to give birth to only one puppy.

During mating, you first need to let the dogs communicate, since a bitch for whom such a date is new can be afraid and growl, she may even begin to resist and attack, which for an inexperienced dog can also become a problem in further mating. The bitch, on the third day after the swelling of the loop, had enough time for her natural instincts to prevail, and she began to flirt, showing her consent, pulling her tail aside.
When the dog starts to cage, it is necessary to slightly hold the bitch, not letting her sit down. You can hold her with your hand under her belly or adjust the height of the loop by placing her knee under her belly. When the male ejaculates, he begins to touch his hind legs finely.
