A puppy has appeared in your house, but, oh, horror: he constantly itches and tries to bite himself. Don't worry: your pet has common fleas that need to be removed as soon as possible.

- -antiparasitic shampoo;
- -antiparasitic ampoules;
- -antiparasitic collar;
- -black water;
- - wormwood or tansy herb.
Instructions
Step 1
The easiest way to get rid of fleas is to wash your pet with an antiparasitic shampoo. Go to any pet store or veterinary pharmacy, where experts will recommend a shampoo that's right for your puppy. Strictly follow the instructions: keep the time of applying the shampoo, and also make sure that your pet does not manage to lick itself during the washing process.
Step 2
After the shampoo, you can apply a special antiparasitic ampoule to the pet's withers (as a rule, they provide comprehensive protection not only from fleas, but also from ticks). The ampoule must be squeezed onto the withers of the animal so that it cannot lick itself in this place. After that, the drug is absorbed into the upper layer of the epidermis and protects the dog from fleas and ticks for the period of time specified in the instructions.
Step 3
Instead of an ampoule, you can buy an antiparasitic collar for your pet. It can also have comprehensive flea and tick protection.
Step 4
If you live in places where there are no veterinary pharmacies and pet stores, then you can go to a regular pharmacy and buy hellebore water. Apply it to the animal's fur, avoiding contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Leave for 7-10 minutes, then comb the animal with a fine comb and rinse thoroughly with water. If the first time it was not possible to destroy all the parasites, then the treatment can be repeated after 24 hours. If there is a secondary infection with parasites, then it is recommended to reapply hellebore water after seven days.
Step 5
To finally get rid of fleas, it is also necessary to process the living space. To do this, rinse the floors with special products that can be bought at a veterinary pharmacy or in a store that sells disinfectants. After that, be sure to wash your pet's bedding in hot water.
Step 6
Put twigs of wormwood or tansy under your pet's bedding - fleas cannot stand the smell of these plants.
