Ear mites bother the animal, which scratches itself, constantly trying to comb out the parasite. Sometimes it comes down to infection and hearing loss. The appearance of ticks is an indicator that the animal has a reduced immunity, therefore, an ear mite in pets should be treated in a comprehensive manner.
It is necessary
- - green tea
- - vegetable oil
- - garlic
- - insecticidal preparations
Instructions
Step 1
Rinse your ears with green tea. Prepare an infusion of green tea - a spoonful of tea leaves in a regular glass of boiling water. Strain the infusion and refrigerate it to a comfortable temperature. Take a dropper, draw up the tea and rinse the auricle and canal. Hold the animal to ensure easy access to the ears (the cat can be wrapped in a large towel). The animal will begin to shake its head, pieces of dirt will fly out along with the tea. Wipe the ear canal dry with a cotton swab.
Step 2
Drop in the oil. Take any vegetable oil and put crushed garlic in it for a while. Strain the oil. Brushing the animal's ears will help the oil reach its target faster. Dip the ear canal with oil (4-5 drops are enough).
Step 3
Use ready-made insecticidal preparations. The variety of drugs allows you to choose the most suitable option. There are formulations with antibiotics - they act on bacteria, mites and fungi. Universal drugs have a broad antiparasitic effect. Some flea medicines can kill ear mites as well. Check with your veterinarian to find the most appropriate remedy. Apply as directed. During treatment, treat the animal completely (with special shampoos) - ear mites can move.
Step 4
Strengthen your immune system. To support the body and increase resistance to parasites, give the animal Echinacea in accordance with the prescribed dosage. Feed your animal well - a balanced diet will strengthen the body and the immune system.
Step 5
Heal everyone. Treat all pets unless you want to treat your pet's ear mite on a monthly basis. Animals quickly become infected from each other, even a short contact is enough for them.
