Everyone who has a guinea pig at home wants to see their little animal healthy and energetic. The pet needs good nutrition and the ability to constantly be on the move. Therefore, in order for the pig to feel good, you need to play with it on the street or at home.
Instructions
Step 1
Allow the guinea pig to stay in free space for a longer time so that it runs and jumps well. When you release an animal from a cage, it is better to limit its movement to one room or premises. See how the animal begins to frolic and run around all corners of the room, to explore everything. Try to arrange an obstacle course from different blocks, small flower pots, stones.
Step 2
Small structures can be made from old cardboard boxes. If you cut holes in them - the entrance, you get an interesting toy. It will be possible to observe how the pig will move back and forth. These animals love to play with pipes and tunnels, which can also be made from cardboard. Sometimes these animals like to play with a ball, roll it with a paw. Play more often with your pet, stroke him on the head, massage with a special brush, he really likes it.
Step 3
Basically, guinea pigs spend their time in a cage, so they definitely need to do something. Place tree branches in the cage, for example, from an apple tree, a willow tree. The animals will chew them with pleasure. This will not only be fun for your pet, but it will also benefit his teeth. You can put food to the pig in different corners of the cage, the animal will happily run and look for it. You can put a wheel in a cage, some guinea pigs are very fond of moving in it. Build houses of grass or bamboo, grass tunnels for your pet.
Step 4
Guinea pigs can easily climb to a small height, they like to crawl stairs or special slides. At a low height, fasten strong ropes of different lengths. Soft paper towels or napkins can also be given to your pet, he will try to build a warm nest out of them. Make a swing from a plastic bottle and gently swing them. To do this, cut off the bottom and neck of the bottle, make two holes and secure the rope.
Step 5
If the weather is dry and warm, take the pig out for a walk. Place a stone or brick in the aviary, the pig will gladly climb on it, sniff and look around. These animals really like to dig in the sand, so you can play in it with the pig.
