If you want your pet to take part in official dog shows, regularly held by RKF, your desire alone will not be enough for this. It will be necessary to submit to the exhibition organizing committee all documents certifying not only the purity of the animal breed, but also its other characteristics.
Instructions
Step 1
Pre-visit several exhibitions, read the recommendations of specialists for preparing dogs for ringing, learn the rules of dog behavior during the competition.
Step 2
Prepare your pet for participation in the exhibition, carry out all preventive measures (veterinary, psychological). Visit (if needed) a dog stylist.
Step 3
Read the rules for registering participants.
Step 4
Fill in the application form for participation in the exhibition. Indicate in the application form: - breed of dog;
- the name of the dog (according to the official pedigree);
- the number of the pedigree and the number of the stamp (or microchip);
- the date of birth of the dog, its gender, color, nicknames of the father and mother, as well as the name of the breeder;
- Full name of the owner of the dog, his home address (indicating the index) and contact numbers.
Step 5
Submit the following documents to the Secretary of the RKF and / or the expert committee: - a certified copy of the dog's pedigree;
- a certificate from the veterinarian about the health of the dog;
- a correctly drawn up application form.
Step 6
If you are going to exhibit not an adult dog, but a puppy (in the class of puppies and junior dogs), in this case it will be quite enough for the commission members to present a puppy card (or its certified copy) instead of a pedigree.
Step 7
To register a dog for participation in an exhibition in the champion class, submit to the organizing committee any certificate (diploma, certificate) confirming its champion status, which is available in the list of certificates recognized by the RKF.
Step 8
To register a dog for participation in an exhibition in the class of working (for example, hunting) dogs, submit to the organizing committee a certified copy of the certificate for working qualities of the dog, which is on the RKF list.
Step 9
Remember that registration of exhibitors ends 30 days before the opening. Enter the amount set by the organizing committee for registration of the participant in the exhibition catalog.
Step 10
Receive from the organizing committee within a week after the deadline for accepting applications, a written confirmation of your dog's participation in the show (animal number in the catalog, place and time of the event).
