There are types of domestic cats that are not only very beautiful, but also rare. These pets include a Savannah cat.
Savannah is one of the large cat breeds. This breed was born by crossing domestic breeds (Siamese cats) with a serval. Serval is one of the wild cat families that live on the African continent.
Savannahs can reach a size of 60 centimeters at the withers with a body weight of 7 to 15 kilograms. There are also heavier individuals weighing 18 kg. Such large sizes are a characteristic feature of Savannah cats.
These domestic cats cost a lot of money and are considered one of the most expensive, so not everyone will allow themselves to have such a unique pet. Savannahs have a noble appearance: long legs, an oblong neck and body, a short and fluffy tail with a black end and rings at the tip. As for the ears, it is very surprising and at the same time attractive that, although they are large, they are erect. Savannahs are very similar in color to leopards. When kittens are born, their eyes are mostly blue, but in adults they can be different in color, for example, gold, brown, green, as well as mixed tones.
Savannahs are short-haired animals, and the coat itself is soft and dense in structure. Leopard print can appear as black or brown spots of various sizes and shapes. There are different classes of Savannah breeds, so the size of cats can also vary.
The breeding process of these breeds is very difficult and long. All this is due to differences from other breeds in the time of bearing offspring and genetic characteristics.
