From the very first days of your stay with your French Bulldog, you need to accustom him to combing, cleaning eyes and ears, trimming nails, and other hygiene procedures. The coat of this breed of dogs practically does not shed, does not have a specific smell, does not remain on upholstered furniture and clothes. But she needs regular brushing, especially when the puppy down is replaced by a normal coat.

Brush your dog when he is calm. Feed him, praise him, French Bulldogs love it. The brush should be purchased from pet stores and should not injure the skin or hair. A massage brush is best suited for this purpose. Brush your bulldog daily, start from the head, then go over the body, not excluding the tail and sides.
Step 3
French Bulldogs, by nature, love water, but they hate it when they don't want to. Therefore, it is recommended to carefully and gradually accustom the puppy to bathing, try not to frighten, so that the washing procedure does not cause unpleasant associations in him in the future. It is not recommended to bathe French Bulldog puppies under one year old. If the dog is healthy, the hair will be cleaned thanks to the massage brush. Then open the tap with water, adjust the water temperature (37-38 degrees), dampen the wool, apply shampoo and lather, rinse. You can use baby soap to bathe your pet. Cleaning the ears of a French Bulldog is enough once every two weeks, sulfur and dirt can cause inflammation of the ear canals. It is very convenient to use ordinary cotton swabs or cotton swabs for these purposes. If you get an unpleasant odor from the ears, discharge of dark sulfur, you should contact your veterinarian.
