Why do pigeons fly onto the balcony?
The simplest explanation for this is excessive pigeon curiosity. These birds, like many others, are attracted by curiosity and a sense of the unknown. In addition, a person sometimes has food on the balcony (seeds, nuts, pistachios, bread crumbs). All this makes especially brave pigeons and other birds fly onto the balcony to the person. Of course, pigeons behave extremely carefully and, on occasion, instantly soar into the air.
One common explanation for this pigeon behavior is as follows. The fact is that in some houses (for example, in panel five-story buildings) there are vertical rectangular openings above the windows at the level of the fifth floor. Pigeons just love to sit in them. Usually there are balconies next to these holes, on which there is often some kind of food.
It happens in another way. For example, if there is a closed-type (glazed) balcony nearby, then pigeons endlessly walk and wander on its roof, creating discomfort for a person: endless rustles, gurgles and annoying walking do their job. This is their kind of walk. Moreover, some balconies have a galvanized roof, which heats up in the light of sunlight, which allows the pigeons to additionally warm up if it is not so hot outside.
To believe in these signs or not to believe - everyone decides for himself. The main thing is not to forget about the rational "grain" of this situation. If a pigeon suddenly flew onto the balcony, then this does not at all mean someone's death. It's just a curious pigeon caught!
