A well-bred dog will become a true friend and loyal protector to its owner. However, in order to freely enjoy the company of his beloved dog, he must learn all the rules of behavior in your apartment. One of the biggest problems is when the animal makes puddles in the wrong places at all.
It is necessary
- - booth or bed;
- - vinegar;
- - tray or dog diapers;
- - an antigadin type agent.
Instructions
Step 1
If your dog is in the habit of urinating on the bed, explain to him that he has nothing to do on the bed. Forbid him to approach the bed, lock this room if possible. Give the animal your own corner, where he will have a bed or a booth. Train your dog that this is its place, and make sure that the dog goes there on command and remains there for a while.
Step 2
Your dog probably needs to go to the toilet more often than you take him outside. Either increase the number of walks, or put a litter box in the apartment, or put a special dog diaper where your dog can go to the toilet when you are not at home. The problem with puddles on the bed will be solved by itself.
Step 3
If a young dog is urinating on the bed, there may be a power struggle in your family, and the dog is trying to take the place of the leader, leaving marks on your belongings. If this really is the reason, you need to show the dog who is the boss. Start working with your pet and make sure that the commands are followed, do not let the pet bite you, feed the dog only after you have eaten breakfast yourself, and do not take it to bed with you.
Step 4
If your dog makes a puddle on your bedspread, do not wash the stain, but wash the blanket completely with a strong scent powder. When rinsing the bedspread, you can add some vinegar to the water. Its smell should scare the animal away.
Step 5
Buy an odor-free product from the pet store and apply it to the blanket. Before buying, check with your dealer to see if this product will harm you.
Step 6
If your dog doesn’t want to part with his favorite toilet spot, think about whether it would be easier for you to part with the ill-fated bedspread. It is likely that the dog will not want to urinate on the new blanket at all.
Step 7
By doing his business in your bed, your dog may be trying to draw your attention to his problem. Perhaps you have a catastrophic little interaction with the dog, so he thinks that you would rather scold him than ignore him. It may also be that the pet has health problems. For example, this behavior is observed with cystitis.
