Many dog breeders are faced with the problems of raising and training dogs, and this often leads to undesirable consequences. The main thing is to remember one simple rule: you do not need to pamper the puppy and allow him everything, only allow what will later be allowed for an adult dog. Therefore, you should not allow the puppy to sleep in the owner's bed, since at an older age it will be quite difficult for you to wean the dog from this habit.
Instructions
Step 1
If your dog is used to sleeping on the bed with you, it will be very difficult to wean him. If you want to achieve the best results, then you need to involve the whole family. To fight the dog's bad habit, the whole family must unite, otherwise one uninitiated person can bury all your efforts at once.
Step 2
Do not leave your dog alone in a room with a bed until you have completed his training. If this is not possible, you will have to lock the room with a key.
Step 3
It is not necessary to drive the dog out of bed by using force and yelling at it - this can cause a defensive reaction on its part. At this moment, it is better not to touch the dog at all, since in the moment of anger you can injure him, after which he will behave most aggressively.
Step 4
When training your dog, you can use a leash so that you can easily chase the dog out of bed. If your dog starts to behave aggressively, use a muzzle. But you do not need to drag the dog by force by the leash, make the dog jump when the leash is loose.
Step 5
Since your dog is used to comfort and a comfortable resting place, show him where he can and cannot rest. For these purposes, you will have to build a bed that is comfortable for the dog and preferably next to the owner's bed, since she is already used to human interaction and by separating the dog from herself into the corridor or another room, you will make her worry, and perhaps thereby cause aggression on her part … Isolating your dog from society is a kind of punishment, and you should reward him for good behavior.
Step 6
Give the command to the dog to go to the place, and if he lays down on his lounger, and not on your bed, be sure to reward him with a piece of delicacy and pet him right on the resting place. If you train your puppy to sleep in its proper place from the beginning, he will never get into the habit of climbing onto the bed.
