A cattery is a place where different breeds of cats are professionally bred. It happens that nurseries do not have any special name at all. But it's still much better if the cat's house has its own name.

Start choosing a name directly from the subject of your interest, that is, from cats. Of course, calling the cattery simply "Cats" is not a good idea. But try to translate this word into other languages. For example, "Felis" ("cat" in Latin) is already quite an adequate and euphonious name. You can play with the English name of the cat. My Cat, Cat World and similar names may not be so original, but they will immediately reflect your occupation.
Step 2
Think of the famous cats you know. For example, cartoon characters. Tom, kitten Woof, Matroskin, Garfield can give their name to your cattery. Look for information about famous cats that existed in reality. For example, Larry the cat, who has the proud title of Chief Mouser of the British Government Residence, or Scarlett the cat, who pulled her own kittens out of the fire in the 1996 Brooklyn fire. Why not give the kennel a name that has some history?
Step 3
If your cattery will be engaged in breeding any one breed of cats, then associate the name with this breed. For example, if British kittens are bred in the cattery, why not call it Britain or derivatives from this word? You can also play with the name of any other breed of cats.
Step 4
Give your kennel your name. True, this option is more suitable for women. The name of the kennel "Alexandra" or "Angelica", perhaps, will carry a little less semantic meaning than others, but it is beautiful.
Step 5
Organize a competition for the name of the cattery. It is best to hold such contests among children. Ask the children to suggest their own variants of names, choose the best of them, and give the winner some pleasant prize, for example, a stuffed cat toy.
