In this case, the animal simply needs to be transferred to good food or taught to eat regular food (meat, cereals, dairy products, boiled vegetables, mineral supplements).

If your cat flatly refuses to eat new food, then there are two ways. The first is the gradual change of food. For example, start adding pieces of meat or fish to your usual food, gradually reduce the amount of dry food to a minimum. After that, you can add some vegetables or cereals to the meat.

If your cat categorically refuses to eat pieces of meat when choosing food, then you need to use another method. Place the meat in a bowl and do not give the gourmet any other food. Fasting for two to three days is great for boosting your appetite and not harming your healthy body.
