Step 1
Firstly, it must be taken into account that representatives of wildlife that are considered rare or endangered cannot be exported from Thailand. It is considered smuggling, it faces heavy fines or even prison. For the export of familiar dogs and cats, you just need to perform a number of procedures.
Step 2
You need to go to the veterinary clinic to get a veterinary passport for the dog, which will indicate all vaccinations. In the same veterinary clinic, you need to make a number of vaccinations for your animal. Vaccinations against plague, rabies and leptospirosis are necessary. They must be done one month before the departure date. To make it easier for the animal to undergo vaccinations, ten days before they need to rid the dog of worms with the help of special preparations.
Step 3
In the same veterinary clinic, you must put a special chip for your pet and get a certificate for it.
Step 4
After all these procedures, you must contact the Animal Quarantine Office of the desired international airport, fill out the application form intended for this case and submit the entire package of documents, plus the original passport of the dog's owner and a copy of the first page. Within three days thereafter, you must be issued a Health Certificate (valid for ten months) and an Export Certificate (valid for three months).
Step 5
Of course, it is necessary to notify the airline in advance (at least two days in advance) if you are going to carry the animal in the cabin. By the way, no more than two dogs can be carried in the cockpit, the rest will have to be checked into the luggage compartment. The dimensions of the cage for the luggage compartment are 80X100X110. It is best to check the rules for transporting animals with the specific airlines you intend to fly with in order to avoid conflicts.
