Now the fashion for exotic has gone, people began to start houses of giant lizards, predators and huge spiders. Mini-pigs - little pigs - belong to the same fashion trend.

These little pigs do not tolerate confined spaces, so keeping them in a cage will be unacceptable. They live in constant motion, especially young individuals, so they should be walked on the street just like dogs. Desirable daily and for several hours. Mini-pigs are great at getting used to the litter box, but you can easily teach them to go to the toilet outside too. Unfortunately, their bones and ligaments are weak, so if the house has linoleum or laminate flooring, you need to get carpets. Mini pigs have their own needs, just like any other animal. For example, digging with a stigma. Therefore, you need to start a large tray with rags at home, in which the pig can dig from time to time, or find places with loose earth for a walk. They also need toys. Balls or dog toys are fine here. The pig must run a lot, otherwise obesity may develop.

They are completely unpretentious in food. The diet should include vegetables, cereals, meat or fish, but it is strictly not recommended to feed them from a common table. Fried, salted and generously peppery foods can cause irreparable harm to animals. If it is not possible to cook natural food yourself, you can resort to compound feed. It is worth considering that they are also different. Food for ordinary village pigs is not suitable, as it contributes to weight gain and rapid obesity. Feeding should be two times a day, according to a clear schedule. You cannot feed mini-pigs at random times. Portions should also be strictly limited.

Mini-pigs are very smart. They can master any commands and actions. You can only reward them with food, other methods do not work. For scratching and stroking, the pig will not fulfill the requirements of the owner, even if it is strongly attached to him.

Mini-pigs are convenient because they do not require special care for the skin. They do not shed, do not have lice and a specific smell. The smell can only come from urine and mainly from males, who thus mark their territory.
