Do not forget that any cat, even such a domestic sissy as the Persian, is a predator. But the Persian is in no hurry to catch mice, and not every breeder of an expensive thoroughbred cat will be delighted with such food for a pet. Therefore, meat and fish must be present in the cat's diet. Choose lean beef, preferably unfrozen. Cut the meat into small pieces and serve it to the animal with the addition of boiled vegetables - cauliflower or white cabbage, beets. For a change, you can add a little rice or buckwheat to meat instead of vegetables. Fish, however, should not be given often. Once a week is enough. The fish must be gutted, without skin or bones. Persian can only be given sea fish - haddock, cod, pink salmon.

For a change, you can sometimes give your cat chicken if your pet is not allergic to it. However, it is not necessary to use chicken as the main component of meat nutrition. Once a week, you can offer a persian beef heart, cut into pieces. But the liver is contraindicated in cats. Of course, it is rich in vitamins and minerals, but there are too many parasites in this product.
Step 3
The next essential component of the Persian diet is dairy products. Regular fresh milk is suitable only for kittens and young individuals; an adult cat will have an upset stomach from it. The main dairy product for the Persian is low-fat kefir and 9% cottage cheese. Kefir should first stand in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. Sometimes you can treat a cat to fermented baked milk and 10% sour cream, slightly diluted with boiling water.

Eggs need to be given, because they are rich in easily digestible animal protein. But not more often than once a week, since egg white destroys vitamin H (biotin). Or, separate the yolks from the whites.

But food from your table should not be given to cats or dogs. All kinds of sweets, smoked meats, pickles or buns will only harm the animal. And do not believe the pet's pitying, pleading glance. In addition, pieces from the table for any animal are fraught with overeating and metabolic problems.

You can feed the cat with ready-made food. They can be divided into 3 classes. Economy class food is cheap and well advertised. But there is nothing particularly useful in it. The cat is quickly saturated with carbohydrates, but you will not find any vitamins, minerals and the declared natural ingredients there. Middle-class food does contain vitamins and vegetables declared in them, different types of meat. But, as a rule, there is no special difference between "chicken" and "turkey". In premium food, all components are natural, there are all the necessary vitamins and minerals. Many cat food manufacturers produce special foods for a particular breed. Including for the Persians. If you want to give your cat ready-made food, choose these. The fact is that the composition of the feed is adapted to the needs of the Persians, taking into account the length and quality of wool, the characteristics of digestion, the shape of the muzzle.

If you initially fed natural food, but then decided to transfer the cat to ready-made food, do it gradually. First, add a little feed to your usual food, increasing the dose over time. Then replace one of the feedings, and then completely replace natural products with ready-made meals.
Step 8
Despite the fact that the food for the Persian cat contains substances that remove hair from the intestines, from time to time give the animal a special food marked "hairball". Malt paste will not hurt either. Just do not need to give it or special feed all the time. Follow directions and consult your breeder and veterinarian.

The cat should always have fresh water, preferably boiled or filtered. Buy cat grass for your pet, or grow it yourself. Grass and herb seeds can be purchased at pet stores and hypermarkets.
