Even in Russia, they tried to drive weasel out of houses, using various folk remedies, such as a spinning wheel with a spindle, with a piece of red wool or cloth laid in front of the hen house, seeing which, as a rule, the beast is afraid and no longer returns to this yard, or hung to a stick with a hemp tow put on it, which, in the opinion of the old-timers, could also scare away this animal, etc. We offer a convenient, simple, practical and proven method for catching weasel, which will be discussed below.
It is necessary
2 liter bottle, bucket, bait
Instructions
Step 1
Catching a weasel yourself with a custom-made trap is easy: Take a 2-liter plastic bottle, cut the neck until it thickens and cut off the bottom.
Make a spear cut at the throat in order to string the bait there.
Step 2
Put on the bait (a piece of meat) and place the bottle where you noticed the weasel, so that the side with the bait hangs off the chair or table. Place a bucket with a lid under the hanging edge of the bottle. Open the lid and attach it so that if the bucket vibrates, it can close.
Step 3
Wait for the weasel to follow the bait. The animal will make its way into the bottle from the bottom and when it gets to the bait, the body weight will outweigh the bottle, and the animal, along with the trap, will fall directly into the bucket, the lid of which will slam shut from hesitation and the weasel will be imprisoned.
Take the captured animal away from home and release it into the forest.
Step 4
In addition to this method, for catching weasel, you can use mousetraps or traps for catching rats, on which you just need to string bait in the form of meat or sausage.
