Pets, be they dogs, cats or turtles, become real family members. Their lifespan, unfortunately, is shorter than that of humans, so many pet owners have to deal with their inevitable death, which is perceived as the loss of a beloved friend. A deceased pet should be buried with honor, but not everyone knows where and how to do it.

Instructions

Step 1

Call the veterinary service in your city. Firstly, veterinary clinics often offer cremation services (but not burial). Secondly, there should be aware of the presence of formal and unofficial animal cemeteries. In official cemeteries, pets are also cremated, after which you can choose what to do with the ashes - bury, dispel, or take with you. For example, in Moscow there is a pet cemetery located on the Mashkinskoye highway. You can bring your pet's body there yourself or order a home visit service. The cemetery is open seven days a week, around the clock.

Step 2

Ask veterinarians and acquaintances about unofficial animal cemeteries in your city. As a rule, they are arranged by grieving owners - they themselves dig graves, erect homemade crosses and stones with photographs of dogs and cats, and bring flowers. You can bury your pet in such a place for free, it is not prohibited by law.

Step 3

The easiest way, of course, is to bury the animal in the park near the house or in the forest. But the park is not a burial place, there you cannot erect a small monument, fence a grave, or make a bench. The forest is also not the best option, you may later not find the place where you were buried; besides, there is always the possibility that someone will dig up the grave. Many people bury their pets in the country, this is a convenient option if you have one.

Step 4

If none of the options suits you, or your city does not have pet cemeteries, follow the Japanese tradition. In Japan, animals are cremated, after which a page dedicated to the deceased pet is created on special “cemetery” sites. Gradually, this custom reached other countries, including Russia. There are several sites on the Russian-language Internet where you can leave a memory of your friend: for example, petsparadise.ru. There are also forums where people express sorrow, accept condolences. Communication is essential for any loss.
