With the arrival of spring, our feathered friends appeared on the streets of cities. In the city, it is not easy for birds to provide themselves with food, so some of us help them - they build feeders, birdhouses, just feed on the street. Feeders can be seen on almost every tree in the park. Someone hangs them at their window to observe the life of birds.

Step 1
What can you make a feeder from? The choice of material or object from which the feeder will be made is limited only by your imagination and free time. A feeder can be made from a plastic bottle, from a cardboard juice box, etc.
Step 2
Plastic bottle feeder. There are two ways to make a plastic bottle feeder. You can make a feeder using only the bottom of the bottle or the whole bottle. From a plastic bottle, you need to cut off the bottom of 5–10 centimeters and use a fishing line to fix it on a tree branch. Method two: make a rectangular hole in a plastic bottle and also attach it to the branch using fishing line. You can also cut a feeder of an original shape from a plastic bottle, for example, in the form of a boat. You can make a juice box feeder in the same way.
Step 3
But do not limit your imagination to the production of feeders from plastic bottles and cardboard boxes. Coconut can also serve as a material for the feeder. Having cut it in half and taking out the core, the remaining shell can also be fixed on a tree branch, for example, by decoratively decorating it with red ribbons and thereby bring originality to the feeder.
Step 4
Anything can serve as materials for the feeder: any plastic box from under some trifle, a can of coffee, any object of a round or rectangular shape with a shallow bottom. To give originality and uniqueness to your feeder, you can decorate it in any way you can, for example, with bows left over from the holiday, make patterns on it, use ordinary watercolor or colored self-adhesive paper. You can entrust the decoration of the feeder to your child, thereby showing him the need to take care of the surrounding nature.
Step 5
You can fix the feeder on the balcony or on the windowsill and watch the life of the birds. Place beautifully designed feeders in your garden, in the country, making the garden more lively and blooming. But do not forget that not only the birds living next to you need feeding. Feeders can also be placed in forested areas.
