Our pets, like people, need constant affection and care. After all, Antoine de Saint-Exupery himself once wrote that we are responsible for those whom we have tamed. If your toy terrier is often freezing, then he simply needs special clothing. These animal garments are not cheap. But do not despair, because you can sew them yourself.
Instructions
Step 1
First of all, choose the fabric for the future jumpsuit. The top is preferably made of raincoat fabric, and flannel is perfect for lining.
Step 2
Then take your measurements. You only need to take one measurement - the length of the back. To do this, put a collar on your pet. Next, measure the distance from the collar to the beginning of the tail. Divide the resulting measurement by 8 in order to find out the side of the grid square with which the pattern is made.
Step 3
Draw a grid, transfer the pattern to it. Part No. 1 is two halves of the overalls - right and left. Detail # 2 is a wedge that covers the belly and chest of the toy terrier. This piece is sewn with the narrow end between the front legs.
Step 4
Cut the fabric according to the pattern, do not forget for seam allowances of 1-1.5 cm.
Step 5
Sweep all the pieces of clothing and sweep them sequentially.
Step 6
When trying on, adjust the length and width of the legs.
Step 7
Sew all seams with a sewing machine. Gather the bottom of the legs with an elastic band.
Step 8
The finished jumpsuit will be suitable for your pet. It will not hinder his movements and will provide protection from wind and rain.
