A dog living in an apartment has basic needs that it cannot satisfy without the help of its owner. The animal needs to be fed and walked daily. When walking your dog, do not spend all your time talking on the phone or listening to music. Pay attention to the animal: run with him, leave his wand. When manipulating "doggy" items, let your pet make sure that you did not take them for yourself, but only washed and returned them to their place.
Pet the dog when you and she feel like it. It is difficult to resist and once again not to hug a cute fluffy, not to pat a drooping ear and not to tickle the heel. But animals do not like when they compulsively try to touch them and try to avoid such situations - they hide and run away. Before petting the dog, call him by name so that the touch does not come as a surprise to him. If the animal dodges, it is better not to insist, but try again later.
Companion host
A companion dog will happily accompany its beloved owner, watching what she is doing. If you want your dog to show you this way, encourage him to do so. Begin to sit next to the dog yourself, minding your own business. In this case, it is advisable to choose an activity that may interest the dog. Play a computer game on your phone - the dog will most likely be interested in unfamiliar sounds. Bring knitting closer to your dog - many animals enjoy watching unusual hand movements and twitching of a ball. Periodically be distracted by your pet, talk to him. Soon the dog will understand that it can be interesting with you not only on the street, and will follow you around the apartment, laying on your slippers while you paint or peel potatoes.
Trust issue
It should be not only interesting with your beloved mistress. It should inspire confidence in the dog. Beatings and screams make the animal afraid of a person, but it is difficult to never shout at a dog during a life together. Explain to your pet the rules of conduct in your home, and then the upbringing process will not harm your relationship.
