Dog owners sometimes do not even think that their pet can get lost, because he is so well-mannered, obedient and knows well the places of your constant walks. Alas, this happens, and not always through the fault of the animal.
Instructions
Step 1
Attach a stainless steel tag or capsule to your pet's collar. You can buy them at a pet store. Include a note in the capsule with your address, phone number, and dog's name. Do not leave your pet tied up outside, for example, near a store. A purebred dog can simply be stolen.
Step 2

Step 6
But if it did happen and the dog ran away, try to find it, as they say, "in hot pursuit." Connect your family and friends to the search. Break up into groups, search the nearest yards, streets, garbage dumps. Try to notify and interest as many people as possible - neighbors, janitors, housing office workers, teenagers walking on the street, police guards. Promise a reward for information.
Step 7
If all of the above does not bring results, write ads. They should include a description of the dog, its gender, approximate age, and the presence of a collar. If possible, post a photo. Especially, preferably in a different color, highlight: "For a fee." Post announcements at bus stops, at shops, pharmacies, in schools, at the entrances of nearby houses.
Step 8
Notify stray animal care center, visit dog shelters. Visit the place where you last saw the dog as often as possible. In the early days, she can return there in the hope of meeting the owner. Your pet could fall into the hands of people involved in trapping stray animals. Promise a reward, if necessary, point to article 230 of the Civil Code. If the dog is purebred, report the loss on the site of the club of this breed. Do not despair and do not interrupt the search, it is possible that the people who have picked up the dog are already looking for you.
