For rabbits, a nesting compartment is provided.
Step 2
It is better to buy rabbits from trusted private rabbit breeders or on rabbit farms. It is better to refuse the market, there you can buy sick and poor-quality animals from which you cannot get good offspring.
Step 3
Feeding rabbits is easy. Hay is the basis of the diet. It should be green and not rough. It is better to harvest hay yourself, so you can make sure that poisonous plants do not accidentally get into it. In summer, rabbits are fed with dried grass. The diet of rabbits must contain grain. It can be wheat, oats, barley. Additionally, they give root crops, mineral salts, be sure to pour fresh water into the drinking bowl. The rabbits are fed twice a day.
Step 4
Bunnies can occur at the age of 5-7 months. Males are allowed to mate from 6 months. Animals should not be overweight, especially females. The feline rabbit carries young rabbits for 30 days, there may be fluctuations in 1-2 days. Rabbits go round quickly, usually at night.
Step 5
Rabbits are born completely naked and blind. It is necessary to ensure that no corpses remain in the nest. This should be done very carefully, hands should not have foreign odors, it is better to rub them with female droppings. The mother does not sit with her cubs all the time. She periodically visits the nesting department, digs up the fluff, feeds the rabbits and bury them again.
Step 6
The rabbits open their eyes at 10-14 days, grow rapidly, from 17 days of age they begin to leave the nest and feed with their mother. Monthly bunnies are placed in a cage for young animals, and the rabbit is again haunted.
Step 7
Young animals are fed intensively, when they reach 3-4 months, the rabbits are ready for slaughter. But, if meat and skin breeds are grown, then rabbits are slaughtered based on their degree of moulting completion.
