While some birds easily learn the pronunciation of words, it is not so easy to teach others to speak. But with some effort, you can teach even lovebird parrots to speak.

Be patient and persistent in learning - it will take time, but in the end your efforts will be rewarded. For training to be effective, train your parrot to speak from a very early age - preferably from the first day the bird appears in your home.
Step 2
Let the parrot chick understand that he is a full-fledged member of your family, and he himself will want to master human speech in order to get closer to people and start imitating them. Warm the parrot, feed him, help him so that he accepts you as a part of his flock.
Step 3
Remember also that males learn speech more easily than females, but with both, you can succeed in learning. You will spend more time training the female, but the words spoken by the female will be clear and beautiful.
Step 4
Your parrots may be more capable or less capable of imitating human speech - you can check this by the behavior of the parrot. If he tries to imitate all the sounds that he hears in the yard or on TV, this means that the bird has a pronounced ability to imitate sounds. It is also important to tame your parrot - he should trust you and should not be afraid of people.
Step 5
Practice with the parrot alone and have plenty of free time for this. Try to pronounce mainly high sounds while communicating with the bird, since the young chick is not able to reproduce low sounds, and it will be easier for him if you go to meet him.
Step 6
Train your parrot to speak in a calm and quiet atmosphere, turn off the radio, TV and phone, and remove the mirror from the parrot's cage so that the parrot is not distracted. When the lesson is over, put the mirror back.
Step 7
Call the parrot by name as often as possible, talk to him in an affectionate voice, comment on yours and his actions. The best time for classes is morning and evening. In order for the parrot to always be ready to learn, make classes for him the most exciting game that he should look forward to. Human speech can be taught only to the parrot who lives alone. If you practice with the bird regularly, after two to three weeks the parrot will begin to pronounce the first words.
