Treatment for diarrhea in cats depends on the cause and how bad the condition of the animal is. For example, if you have a common indigestion due to poor nutrition, the most common recommendation for a cat is to keep it on a fast diet for a day or two. If there is no vomiting, serve slightly salted water, chamomile decoction. After that, start feeding in small portions.
If diarrhea occurs due to an illness, the animal must be treated under the supervision of a veterinarian, who will prescribe the drugs necessary for treatment. It is good to serve rice or oatmeal to the cat.
To prevent diarrhea, try to treat the cat against parasites on time, feed only good food. Vaccinate in a timely manner. The trays must be kept clean, the dishes must be disinfected on time.
