Step 1
Knit a sweater for your dog. Start knitting from neck to ponytail. Having knitted the length of the collar (4-5 cm), close the loops on both sides, leaving only 2-3 cm in order to go to the back. On both sides of this belt, cast on the loops for the back, the total width of the back should be equal to the circumference of the body in the chest area.

Knit a solid piece of fabric up to the beginning of the legs. Then cut the loops at the sides, leaving only the middle of the back. Tie the back to the ponytail and close all the loops.

Sew in the middle of the neck and torso (separately). Try it on to make sure everything is done correctly. See how much you need to tie from the collar to the torso at the bottom to close the chest. Cast on the loops on the collar and knit to the torso. Try on the thing, skipping knitting between the front legs.
Step 5
Tie your back pants. To determine the width, measure the notch from the beginning of the rear legs to the tail and double it. Sew the pants by sewing with the outside to the notch and leaving the inside free.
Step 6
Knit the front sleeves in the same shape as human ones, focusing on the size of your dog. You can add a hood, for this, knit a rectangle and sew to the collar or shape it in the same way as the heel of a sock.
Step 7
Additionally, tie a hat and scarf for your pet. To knit the beanie, measure the circumference of the dog's head under the ears and divide it in half. This will be the width of the rectangle, from this place measure the distance to the tips of the ears, this will be the length of the cap. Tie two rectangles and sew them together, except, of course, the bottom part. At the corners where the eartips will be, sew on funny pom-poms or tassels

After putting a hat on your dog, find the best place for sewing on the strings. You can use ribbons or wide strips tied with the same threads as strings. If your dog is rather restless and active, attach Velcro to the end of the strings so it can be dressed much faster.
